While capturing different photos for QAHH to use in brochures, annual reports and their website there was a classic moment which made us laugh – as Laura was taking off the napkin for a resident to have a photograph after eating their lunch the lady said “that isn’t the problem is it”, “sorry what is the problem” said Laura….in a very dry way the lady just said “the face is”. Comedy timing was perfect!
Whenever we are asked to go back to The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home to take pictures or capture video we can’t wait. The place always gives us a lift. The smiles on faces from people not in such a fortunate position as others really does make you think that your own life isn’t too bad and sometimes we moan too much.
It is such a worthy cause and we know the photos show the place as it is, happy faces, great staff and residents of all types many of whom get so much from the facilities such as physio, recreational activies and days out amongst many others.
